Scientific journal Food and Feed Research (ISSN 2217-5369) is published by the Institute of Food Technology (FINS), University of Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia.

The journal publishes original research papers, short communications, and review articles in the following, as well as related, areas: Raw and processed food/feed materials; Food/feed technology; Food/feed engineering; Biotechnology; Functional, traditional food and food with geographical origin; Nutrition and health; Food and feed safety; Sensory and consumer sciences; Analytical techniques and methods; Food/feed quality assurance and environmental issues.
All published papers are peer-reviewed (see the chapter Editorial Policy). The content of the Journal is available free of charge and there are no publication charges.

Issues of Food and Feed Research are published in a hard-copy and online format. Instruction for authors is available on www.foodandfeed.fins.uns.ac.rs as well as in each hard-copy issue.
The content of Food and Feed Research may be reproduced without permission, provided that the original work and source is appropriately cited (see the chapter Editorial Policy).


Journal History

Food and Feed Research, first published in 2010, is a successor of the scientific journals „Cereal-Bread“ (YUISSN 0351-0999), first published in 1974, and “Food Processing, Quality and Safety” (ISSN 1821-0554), first published in 2008.


Publication frequency, abstracting/indexing

The Journal is issued twice a year.

The journal has been indexed by the following databases: CAB Abstracts and Chemical Abstracts, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), EBSCO and Ulrich’s Periodical Directory.
