Research Center is engaged in basic and applied research and development of the food chain from primary agricultural production through the feed to human food. Center performs research work in the following scientific disciplines:
With a theoretical and practical contribution to scientific research, the development of feed production and animal products as a scientific discipline in the biotechnological science, the volume and variety of research contribute to the development of new technologies, products and processes to improve industrial production in these areas. This also creates a scientific basis for agricultural policy measures aimed at development, revitalization and increased competitiveness and progress in the production of feed and food in general.
Research Center for feed technology and animal products has successful cooperation with manufacturers of feed and relevant scientific institutions at home and abroad, with the aim of developing new and improving existing technologies and to apply scientific achievements in practice.
Our researchers collaborate with colleagues from industry and decision makers, in a manner that ensures a constant discussion of strategies related to research and development, technical issues, quality management (ISO, HACCP, GMP, etc.), current and future regulations and the like.
Center, in addition to these activities is engaged in the production of developmental plans, investment programs, conceptual designs and major technology projects, organizing seminars and conferences, producing research studies, expert consultations, training of personnel from the industry and direct interventions in plants.
To perform these activities in the field, Research Center is composed of three units:
